Refund Policy

Short version: digital goods, generally no refunds. But we are human.

Digital goods policy

The CV rewrite is a digital product delivered instantly. Once the rewrite is generated and displayed to you, the service has been fulfilled. Like most digital goods (e-books, software licences, generated content), we generally do not offer refunds simply because you changed your mind or did not find the output useful.

We are upfront about what the product does: it rewrites your CV content using AI. The quality will vary depending on the quality of the input. A CV with vague bullets will produce a rewrite with less specificity. That is not a technical failure — that is the nature of the tool.

When we will refund you

We will issue a full refund if the rewrite completely failed to generate due to a technical error on our side. This means: you paid, and you received either an error message, a blank result, or content that is clearly broken or corrupted (not just disappointing).

If this happened to you, we are sorry. Email us within 48 hours of the failed purchase and we will make it right.

How to request a refund

Email support@cvdestroyed.com with:

  • Your Dodo Payments order ID (found in your receipt email)
  • A brief description of what went wrong
  • The date and time of the purchase

We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.

Processing time

Approved refunds are processed within 2–3 business days. The time for the funds to appear in your account depends on your bank or card provider — typically 5–10 business days after processing.
